Humanity Project
A new kind of democracy, built from the ground up. By us, for us, where we live.

Why we Exist!
Humanity Project exists to build something new: assembly culture. It’s a way for us to listen to each other, make decisions together, and take action on the things that shape our lives. We know this needs to happen. We can all feel something’s broken. Democracy isn’t working for us. The media divides us. The people in power don’t listen to us. But we’re changing that, making democracy fit to deal with the problems we face in the UK today.

What is Assembly Culture?
Assembly culture is simple: real conversations, real listening, and real decisions made by the people they affect. It’s the freedom to be heard and the responsibility to listen. It’s about turning division into dialogue and ideas into action. We don’t need to wait for permission from anyone. We can start now, in our streets and the neighbourhoods where we live, deciding on what we need together.

What We Do
We’re bringing assembly culture to life. Through Popular Assemblies in communities across the UK, we’re proving that people-led democracy works. These assemblies are where we exercise our right to be listened to, where disagreements don’t divide us, and where we create solutions that actually make sense for our lives. And it doesn’t stop there — neighbourhood by neighbourhood, we’re building something big enough to change things at every level.
