Amplifying refugee and community voices through collective dialogue and action
Visible Outcomes works alongside refugees, people seeking asylum and racially minoritised communities across Greater Manchester, with strong roots in Salford and Manchester.
Many community members experience barriers to services, participation and decision-making, despite playing a vital role in the social fabric of the city. Through community support, advocacy and leadership development, Visible Outcomes creates trusted spaces where lived experience can be shared, valued and acted upon.
Working with Humanity Project, the organisation is exploring how People's Assemblies can help strengthen community voice, build confidence and create new opportunities for collective dialogue and community-led change.

From lived experience to collective voice
Visible Outcomes works with people whose voices are often missing from public conversations and decision-making. Many community members have experience of forced migration, insecure immigration status, poverty, exclusion or barriers to accessing support.
Alongside practical support and advocacy, the organisation is helping create opportunities for people to connect, build confidence and develop leadership within their communities. The aim is not only to support individuals, but to strengthen collective voice and ensure lived experience helps shape local priorities and decisions.
Since joining Humanity Project, Visible Outcomes has been exploring how People’s Assemblies could create accessible, inclusive and trauma-informed spaces for dialogue. Through listening, relationship-building and community conversations, local residents, facilitators and community leaders are laying the foundations for assemblies rooted in dignity, belonging and participation.
Together, this work is helping to create new opportunities for people to influence the issues that matter most to their lives, while strengthening connections across communities in Salford and Greater Manchester.
